The Grocery Outlet Store was founded in 2010 in Allegan, Michigan. After several successful years serving that community, we expanded by purchasing our Hudsonville location in 2014, which later moved to Jenison in the spring of 2025. Today, we proudly serve the greater Jenison area with a wide selection of grocery items to meet all your needs — from fresh produce and meats to dry goods, frozen foods, dairy products, and canned goods. We also offer convenient services such as gift cards, bag & box service, and carryout assistance to make your shopping experience hassle-free. Whenever I stop here I find interesting things. In addition to "normal" foods at a discount, there are also nice specialty foods that we wouldn't want to spend the money on if they were full price, but are fun to try when the price is deeply reduced. It's hit or miss, with some stops being more worthwhile than others, but it's fun to see what they have. If you're headed from Grand Rapids to Holland for a day at the beach, this is a great place to grab snacks—and a cold drink from the cooler—on the way. Pro tip: When you stop here, if there's a product you're not familiar with, try it before you leave. This will prevent you from buying too much if you don't like it, or too little if you do.
